GEORGIA ROTARY STUDENT PROGRAM
Unique in the Rotary world, our Georgia Rotary Student program is one of the largest continuing scholarship programs in existence. Established in 1946, the program has grown from four students and a $4,000 annual budget to over seventy students and a budget of over $1,000,000. Every Rotarian in Georgia contributes to this program through his/her dues, and every club is offered the opportunity to sponsor a student. Many Rotarians contribute many hours to make this program work, here are just a few:

GRSP TRUSTEES FOR DISTRICT 6920
The Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) Trustees have the important and demanding responsibility of supervising the care of the Georgia Rotary Students. They work all year with host clubs, host families, the students and educational institutions to ensure that our students’ needs are met. They are the students’ primary link to the program. Trustees also represent their assigned clubs on the GRSP Board of Trustees which meets at least three times per year. The Trustees and clubs represented are:
Rob Kellner – Ashburn, Nashville-Berrien, Tifton, Tift County, Valdosta, Valdosta North, Valdosta Sunrise.
Gerald Smith – Centerville, Cochran, Dublin, Eastman, Greater Byron, Hawkinsville, Perry, Warner Robins.
John O’Shaughnessey, Jr., MD – Downtown Macon, Jones County, Macon, Milledgeville, Sandersville, Tennille, Wrightsville.
Clyde Taylor- Brunswick, Camden County, Glynn County, Jekyll Island, King’s Bay, Marshes of Glynn, McIntosh County, St. Simons Island.
