          Greg Franks is Assistant Manager for Club and District Administration – Pan America and supervises the implementation of all aspects of service to Rotary Clubs and districts in Southeastern U.S.A., the Caribbean, and northern Latin America.  Born in Chicago, Illinois, Greg received his B. A. in Spanish Education and his M. A. in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  He also has a master’s degree in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona.  He studied for two years at the Universidad Central in Barcelona, Spain.

          Before joining the staff of Rotary International in 1989, Greg was an editor for Scott Foresman and Company in Glenview, Illinois, and taught Spanish language classes.

          Prior to his current position in Rotary International, Greg was Manager of Trustee Services and Senior Service Supervisor for northern Latin America in the Membership Services Division.  Greg is responsible for service to over 2,400 Rotary clubs, 95,000 Rotarians, and 48 District Governors in 35 countries.  He provides support and guidance to club and district leadership in their effort to maintain and improve their membership base.
