The METS process
The effort is fourfold:
|
1. Collecting donated medical equipment and
supplies.

|
|
2. Performing the logistics of sorting, repairing,
weighing and storing of materials in a central
warehouse.

|
|
3. Matching inventory to International needs.
|
|
4. Packing and shipping containers
worldwide.

| |
|
The operating budget for METS is supported by annual
contributions from the clubs of District 6920. At the 2003 District
Conference the membership voted to support the project by
contributing $15.00 per member per year.
METS has a 6,250 Sq. Ft. warehouse in the Savannah, Georgia area
which is used to sort, itemize, store and distribute all donated
supplies and equipment.
If you have expertise in medical equipment , warehousing,
