I have completed the guidelines for this year and received DG Clyde’s approval. I am excited to announce we have received approval to increase the scholarship prize money to $1,250 per zone winner presenting at the district conference. Please review the guidelines. I worked hard to incorporate lessons learned from past years while maintaining the integrity of the contest. District Contest Travel Conditions

Many questions have been asked regarding travel arrangements for Zone Representatives to the District 6920 District Conference. The Following should answer these questions:

Lodging will be provided for contestants Saturday night, April 25

Meals for contestants will be provided at the Saturday evening banquet and the Sunday Brunch

Parents/Guardians will also receive the above

If a counsel or guardian attends rather than a parent(s) the same applies

If two sets of parents exist and both want to attend they will receive the same as above

No travel allowance will be provided

Maximum number of rooms per contestant will be two unless two sets of parents attend in which case three rooms will be provided

We will not provide motel rooms or meals for other family or friends wishing to attend.
